中興新村(舊時的台灣省政府所在地)宿舍群建成於民國43年，是當年仿造英國新市鎮型式設計建築的社區聚落。小花園夢想生活家是承租這個公有宿舍的民宿業者之一，從民國110年開始營運，有6間房(提供2人~4人房型)。
室內清潔、簡單，充滿來自室外的自然光線擁抱。室外從庭院的陽台花園，20分鐘內可以悠閒步行到光明市場、餐館、與學校等生活圈站點。這裡附近沒有高知名度、非去不可的景點，豐富的是每口呼吸優雅閒適的生活氣息。如果時間允許，適合2~7日的駐足來享受慢活。

Chung-Hsing New
Village, formerly the site of the Taiwan Provincial Government, was built in
1954 as a community modeled after British New Town architecture. Jardin Hostel,
one of the businesses leasing this public housing as a guesthouse, has been in
operation since 2021, offering six rooms (accommodating 2 to 4 guests per
room).
Inside, the
interior is clean and simple, bathed in natural light. Outside, the garden
balcony leads to a 20-minute leisurely walk to nearby amenities like Guangming
Market, restaurants, and schools. There are no must-visit, high-profile
attractions nearby, but every breath here is filled with a relaxed, elegant
vibe. If time allows, a stay of 2 to 7 days is ideal to enjoy the slow pace of
life.
